ReliaTrust Technologies create centrally managed, common, and robust desktop environment. We monitor desktop configuration and collect the information to manage software licensing for the site. We use Tivoli, CA UniCenter, and SMS to download and install software upgrades that support a common operating environment, including the following:
  • Property Management - Receipt and test the workstations before inventory system entry.
  • Implementation of Group Policy Objects - Use of Windows 2000/AD GPOs to allow desktop inventory and periodic status of that inventory.
  • Configuration - Formatting/partitioning hard drives, file system management, and boot drive maintenance. Implementation of COE standard and assisting with new software installation.
  • Service Life Extension - Implementation of innovative programs to extend the service life of the workstation.
  • Disposal - Disposal of the workstations in accordance with regulations, removing sensitive material from the hard-drives, and donating the computers to charitable organizations.
Through our processes and tools, ReliaTrust Technologies personnel works well with any customer based work force or other contractors in a network organization.
